How to create Colorful Rhombus Patterns in Adobe Photoshop?

How do you make a new document for your pattern?

To create a document go to the file menu then select new, now choose the width and the height value where width is 1000 pixels and height value is 1000 pixels, Resolution -72 pixels, color mode -RGB, and the background content will be transparent then Press ok>

How to make the very first Colored Rhombus shape?

1. Go to the rectangle tool and select the rectangle, now draw a rectangle on the canvas here rectangle size is near about 3000/3000 in.
2. Now set the rectangle fill color mine is red, after that, press Ctrl+ T and set the angle value to <45°. After changing the shape angle then again press Ctrl+ T and create a Rhombus Shape by increasing and decreasing the angle value.
3. Now set the ruler guide in the middle of the rhombus.

1. Now go to the marquee tool and select the rectangular marquee tool after that select left side of the shape.
2. Now double-click on the foreground color, through the color picker picks the red color which is already given in the shape.
3. Now pick a lighter shade of red color and fill the selected areas through the paint bucket tool which is already selected by the rectangular marquee tool.

1. Go to the layer panel then press Ctrl+ J two(2) times to duplicate the layer.
2. Now select 3rd one layer and set the ruler guide on the middle portion of the shape.
3. Now select the rectangular marquee tool and after that select the left side of the shape.
4. Now double-click on the foreground color and select a light shade of green color and through the paint bucket tool fill the selected areas.
5. After that select, another side of the shape with help of the rectangular marquee tool, Now pick a darker shade of green color and fill the selected areas through the paint bucket tool which is already selected by the rectangular marquee tool.

1. Now press Ctrl+ J two times and duplicate the layer. In the next step, I will continue my work on the base of 3rd one layer which is the shade of green color

4. Do the same thing which is already done for the other two steps. In the same process, I will create another two different color shades of Rhombus. So, the total shade of Rhombus Is 4.

5. Now arrange all the shapes one by one. Go to the layer panel and I have selected my yellow shade of Rhombus. Through the move tool, move the shape on the middle area of the canvas. Now set the ruler guide on the middle portion of the Rhombus. Now select the red Rhombus and place it on the left side of the yellow shape. Do the same thing for all layers and place every shape in the proper place.

How to create a pattern?

6. Set the ruler guide on the left and right side of the violet shape and the ruler guide will be the middle portion of the shape. Again set the ruler guide horizontally on the top and bottom of the violet shape. Now select the guided area through the rectangular marquee tool.

7. Go to the edit menu and now select define pattern and save it.

8. After that Open a new document, Here width, and height are -1200/800 pixels, the Color mode will be RGB, and the Background contents will be white, then press Ok.

9. Go to layer panel then open lock, Then go to new fill and adjustment option, then select pattern option. After selecting the pattern click the drop-down menu and select the pattern which you recently created, now set the size it’s 30%, Then press ok>
