How to create Checked Pattern in Adobe Photoshop?

How do you make a new document for your pattern?

For creating a document, go to the file menu, select new, where width is 1000 and height 800 pixels, Resolution -72 pixels, color mode -is RGB, and the background content will be white then Press ok.

How do you create a checked pattern?

1. Go to the layer panel and create a new layer then select the brush tool and click on the brush preset picker. Now here I selected a flat angle right-hand pose brush and the brush size will be 102px.

2. Now select toggle the brush panel option, here brush tip shape size will be 987px. Then set Bristle Qualities: here Shape will be a Flat angle.

3. On the new layer draw the pattern horizontally. When you draw the pattern press the shift key and click on the mouse and drag the brush to remember it. After draw it, duplicate your layer. Select the duplicated layer and press Ctrl+ T and set the angle value (-90°).

4. Go to the layer panel then select the new fill and adjustment option, after that select Hue/ Saturation option. Here Preset will be Custom and set hue, saturation, and lightness color which You want for the pattern and colorize will check on.
