How do you make new Documents for Pattern?

For creating a document hit on the File menu then select new, where width is 1000 and height is 800 pixels, Resolution is 72 pixels, the color mode is RGB, and the background content will be white then Press ok.

How do you create Foil Texture?

1. At first set your foreground and the background color, your foreground color will be black and the background color will be white. Now select gradient tool, in the gradient toolbar select diamond gradient.

Then click on the canvas and drag the gradient line more than 50 times and the canvas will look like below the image.

2. Now go to the filter menu and select filter gallery, here we will choose the sketch option, then choose the Chrome option. Now set the chrome details, here detail value is 1 and the smoothness value is 2, then click ok.

3. Now again select the filter menu and then the filter gallery, here again, select the sketch option then Bas Relief, here the Bas Relief detail is 11, the Smoothness is 1 then and the Light is Bottom Right.

4. Now go to the layer panel and unlock the layer, here click on the new fill and adjustment layer, then select solid color, now choose the color that you want here I have chosen deep yellow then click ok.

5. After that change color mode from normal to color.

If you want to change the foil color then apply the same process, from the solid color option choose the color which you want and change the color mode from normal to color. I have created another two foil that is pink and green.

Now here, the Foil Texture is complete.
